Vibe Complete Season Sweep of Valkyries

The Atlanta Vibe became the first team to clinch a Pro Volleyball Federation playoff spot last week. But they kept winning on Sunday, completing a season sweep of the Valkyries in Orlando.

Atlanta defeated Orlando in four sets: 25-20, 25-22, 23-25, and 25-17. The Vibe are now 17-5 with two matches remaining in their inaugural regular season.

The Vibe will play next month in PVF Championship ’24 in Omaha, as one of four teams in the playoffs. They are the top seed in the new league.

Setter Mollie Monserez had another great game, showing off her versatile skills at that important position. Monsarez had 55 assists and three kills.

Anna Lazareva recorded a season-best 27 points (or kills) on 51%.
